you'll love D.C !! we went & visited there when we lived in N. Carolina & it was awesome. It's a very "clean" city . It just felt like everywhere we went it was clean. The temple is AMAZING there too it's one of my favorite temples we have been through. we had tons of fun on our road trip . Make the most of it , I look back & at the time I hated driving that far but now I miss all the fun places we saw and how we made the car ride fun
